A top price for Gulam Rasool Santosh - as previously expected
This work without title by Gulam Rasool Santosh was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 149,000.00 (€ 108,151.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Gulam Rasool Santosh that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gulam Rasool Santosh kam im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 108.151,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gulam Rasool Santosh, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
