Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Psyche With Putti by Guillaume Seignac was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 32,311.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guillaume Seignac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French l'Abandon in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 32.311,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guillaume Seignac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French l'Abandon im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 191.230,64).
