Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guillaume Seignac could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work French odalisque changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,736.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillaume Seignac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French l'Abandon in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guillaume Seignac konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit French odalisque für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.736,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Seignac erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French l'Abandon im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 191.230,64).
