Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Chaumière À L'Orée D'Un Bois by Guillaume Dubois for EUR 3,900.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Guillaume Dubois have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A dune landscape with travellers, shepherds and cattle on a path, a church tower beyond in May 2003 with an auction result of EUR 27,485.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Chaumière À L'Orée D'Un Bois von Guillaume Dubois für EUR 3.900,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guillaume Dubois auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A dune landscape with travellers, shepherds and cattle on a path, a church tower beyond im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.485,00.
