In December 2010 Christies in New York held the auction The Year of the Rabbit: The Playboy Collection, which included the work Selected studies, 'Hotel Deluxe', December 2001 by Guido Argentini. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,304.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Argentini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Where Duality Begins, which sold at auction in November 2012 for EUR 23,550.00.

Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Year of the Rabbit: The Playboy Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected studies, 'Hotel Deluxe', December 2001 von Guido Argentini zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.304,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Guido Argentini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Where Duality Begins beobachtet, die im November 2012 für EUR 23.550,00 versteigert wurde.
