Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Parrot by Guan Ping. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 100,300.00 (€ 11,464.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guan Ping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Princess Travelling To The West, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,339.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Parrot von Guan Ping zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 100.300,00 (€ 11.464,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guan Ping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Princess Travelling To The West beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.339,01) versteigert wurde.
