Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Guan Ping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lady By Winter Blossoms sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,601.30) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guan Ping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Princess Travelling To The West, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,339.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guan Ping erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lady By Winter Blossoms für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.601,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Guan Ping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Princess Travelling To The West beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.339,01) versteigert wurde.
