Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Herdboy On The Buffalo by Guan Ping was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 8,090.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guan Ping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Princess Travelling To The West in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,339.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Herdboy On The Buffalo von Guan Ping kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 8.090,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Ping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Princess Travelling To The West im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.339,01).
