Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Gu Linshi was sold in the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,347.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Linshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Gu Linshi wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 29.500,00 (€ 3.347,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Linshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94).
