A top price for Gu Linshi
This artwork by Gu Linshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00. This high result makes Landscape the most expensive artwork by Gu Linshi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Linshi erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Landscape zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Gu Linshi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
