This artwork by Gu Heqing achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Autumn Landscape sold for HKD 73,160.00 (€ 8,915.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gu Heqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Landscape in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Heqing erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Autumn Landscape für HKD 73.160,00 (€ 8.915,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Heqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Landscape im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95).
