A top price for Gu Heqing
The work Autumn Landscape by Gu Heqing was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Autumn Landscape is even the most expensive work of art by Gu Heqing that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Gu Heqing wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Autumn Landscape sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gu Heqing, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
