This artwork by Grete Csaki-Copony achieved an unexpectedly high price at Ketterer in Munich in June 2016. In the Klassische Moderne II auction, the work Großmutter und Enkelin sold for EUR 4,500.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Grete Csaki-Copony; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mutter mit Kind sold at auction in December 2005 with the realized price of EUR 5,236.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Grete Csaki-Copony erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Ketterer in München einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Klassische Moderne II wurde die Arbeit Großmutter und Enkelin für EUR 4.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Grete Csaki-Copony; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mutter mit Kind im Dezember 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.236,00.
