Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Photographs auction, the work Los Angeles, c. 1979 changed hands for USD 720.00 (€ 567.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grant Mudford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,740.49).
