The result of SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,607.61) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottfrid Kallstenius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young couple in love, garden scene from Grez, France, which sold at auction in June 2019 for SEK 130,000.00 (€ 12,377.67).
