A top price for Gordon Baldwin
In March 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Three 'Monad' Forms by Gordon Baldwin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,469.49), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Three 'Monad' Forms the most expensive artwork by Gordon Baldwin that we have observed at auctions so far.
