Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction PAINTINGS FROM THE JOSEPH BROWN COLLECTION, which included the work House In Moonlight by Godfrey Clive Miller. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,549.45). Other works by Godfrey Clive Miller have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 21,150.00 (€ 11,707.46) in May 2003 for the work The Four Seasons.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion PAINTINGS FROM THE JOSEPH BROWN COLLECTION durch, in der auch die Arbeit House In Moonlight von Godfrey Clive Miller zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 15.535,00 (€ 9.549,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Godfrey Clive Miller haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 21.150,00 (€ 11.707,46) im Mai 2003 für die Arbeit The Four Seasons beobachtet.
