Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest Sketch by Godfrey Clive Miller was sold in the AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2000. The price achieved of AUD 16,450.00 (€ 9,956.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Godfrey Clive Miller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2003 the work The Four Seasons was auctioned for AUD 21,150.00 (€ 11,707.46).
