The work Mask: The Dead Faun by Glyn Warren Philpot was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,379.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glyn Warren Philpot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head of a Negro in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 302,500.00 (€ 418,222.23).

Die Arbeit Mask: The Dead Faun von Glyn Warren Philpot kam im November 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.379,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Glyn Warren Philpot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Head of a Negro im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.500,00 (€ 418.222,23).
