It achieved a price of USD 27,940.00 (€ 25,614.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glenn Ligon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (I Was Somebody) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,973,000.00 (€ 3,194,243.45).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.940,00 (€ 25.614,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Glenn Ligon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (I Was Somebody) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.973.000,00 (€ 3.194.243,45).
