Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Late Light on Shoreline Rocks 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. by Glenn Dean was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,191.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glenn Dean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. in November last year with an auction result of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Late Light on Shoreline Rocks 16 x 20 in. framed 25 x 29 in. von Glenn Dean wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.191,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Glenn Dean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.351,06).
