Auction result well in line with expectations
The work High Sierra, CA 12 x 16 in. framed 15 1/2 x 20 in. by Glenn Dean was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year. The price achieved of USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,787.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Glenn Dean have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. in November last year with an auction result of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit High Sierra, CA 12 x 16 in. framed 15 1/2 x 20 in. von Glenn Dean wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.787,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Glenn Dean auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.351,06).
