Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,442.18), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gjon Mili - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Picasso Space Drawings, France, 1949, which sold at auction in October 2005 for USD 22,800.00 (€ 19,007.92).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.200,00 (€ 5.442,18) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gjon Mili mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Picasso Space Drawings, France, 1949 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für USD 22.800,00 (€ 19.007,92) versteigert wurde.
