Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Edward Weston (Stroboscopic Portrait) by Gjon Mili for USD 2,813.00 (€ 2,136.24). This price was achieved in the auction The Modern Image: Photographs from an Important American Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house.
