Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work A tronie of an old woman holding a cup by Giuseppe Nogari. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Nogari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,105.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A tronie of an old woman holding a cup von Giuseppe Nogari zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Nogari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress beobachtet, die im Juli 2012 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 19.105,97) versteigert wurde.
