Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Philosopher with a book by Giuseppe Nogari was sold in the Old Master and British Paintings auction at Christies in London in November 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,129.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Nogari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,105.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Philosopher with a book von Giuseppe Nogari wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Old Master and British Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.129,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
