Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Female Artist by Giuseppe Nogari for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,178.92). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Giuseppe Nogari have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2012 by the work Portrait Of A Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders, Wearing Oriental Dress at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,105.97).
