Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An amusing chapter by Giuseppe Magni was sold in the 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures auction at Christies in London in June 2003. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 10,131.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Magni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Happy Family, which sold at auction in January 2016 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,462.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An amusing chapter von Giuseppe Magni wurde im Juni 2003 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 10.131,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Magni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Happy Family beobachtet, die im Januar 2016 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.462,70) versteigert wurde.
