Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vita in cascina by Giuseppe Giardiello was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Giardiello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A family gathering, Naples, which sold at auction in September 2007 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 6,273.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vita in cascina von Giuseppe Giardiello wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Giardiello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A family gathering, Naples beobachtet, die im September 2007 für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 6.273,43) versteigert wurde.
