In October 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction REGARDS CROISÉS : COLLECTION JEAN-FRANÇOIS & MARIE-ALINE PRAT - DAY SALE, which included the work Violini d'autunno by Giuseppe Gallo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 18,750.00 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Gallo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 367,500.00 (€ 347,419.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion REGARDS CROISÉS : COLLECTION JEAN-FRANÇOIS & MARIE-ALINE PRAT - DAY SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Violini d'autunno von Giuseppe Gallo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 18.750,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Gallo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 367.500,00 (€ 347.419,17).
