Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian Sulle Strade Di Parigi (On The Streets Of Paris) by Giuseppe De Nittis. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,116.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe De Nittis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian Sulle Strade Di Parigi (On The Streets Of Paris) von Giuseppe De Nittis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 26.116,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe De Nittis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87).
