Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L' Arco di Trionfo a Parigi by Giuseppe De Nittis was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 103,414.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe De Nittis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).

Die Arbeit L' Arco di Trionfo a Parigi von Giuseppe De Nittis kam im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 103.414,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe De Nittis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87).
