Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Studio di figura by Giuseppe De Nittis for EUR 1,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe De Nittis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Studio di figura von Giuseppe De Nittis für EUR 1.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe De Nittis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87).
