Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La barca by Giuseppe De Nittis was sold in the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction at Bonhams in London in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,562.50 (€ 8,397.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe De Nittis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).

Die Arbeit La barca von Giuseppe De Nittis wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.562,50 (€ 8.397,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
