A top price for Giuseppe De Nittis - as previously expected
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris by Giuseppe De Nittis. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris is the most expensive artwork by Giuseppe De Nittis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris von Giuseppe De Nittis zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris das teuerste Kunstwerk von Giuseppe De Nittis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
