Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work The bay of Naples by Giuseppe Carelli. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,402.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Carelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 15,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The bay of Naples von Giuseppe Carelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.402,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Carelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert wurde.
