In August 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Bragozzi and other shipping moored up on the Riva dei Setriavorni (illustrated); and Bustling activity on the water, Venice by Giuseppe Carelli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,693.98), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Carelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.
