Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fishermen before the Castel dell'Ovo; and On the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond by Giuseppe Carelli was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,078.17). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Carelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 15,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fishermen before the Castel dell'Ovo; and On the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius beyond von Giuseppe Carelli kam im September 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.078,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Carelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vedute Della Costiera Amalfitana beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert wurde.
