In the Old Masters/New Scholars: Works of Art Sold to Benefit Rugby School auction, the work The Virgin and Child seated on a plinth supported by angels, Saint Michael and other saints below sold for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 32,030.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Cades have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Briseis Leaving Achilles' Tent in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 253,000.00 (€ 170,473.69).

In der Auktion Old Masters/New Scholars: Works of Art Sold to Benefit Rugby School wurde die Arbeit The Virgin and Child seated on a plinth supported by angels, Saint Michael and other saints below für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 32.030,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cades auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Briseis Leaving Achilles' Tent im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 253.000,00 (€ 170.473,69).
