In the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work Portrait of the princes Camillo and Francesco Borghese as young boys sold for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 62,766.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Cades - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Briseis Leaving Achilles' Tent, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 253,000.00 (€ 170,473.69).

In der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Portrait of the princes Camillo and Francesco Borghese as young boys für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 62.766,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cades mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Briseis Leaving Achilles' Tent beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für USD 253.000,00 (€ 170.473,69) versteigert wurde.
