Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art; Maritime Art; Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work The Sea Approach To Marsa Scirocco, Malta by Girolamo Gianni. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,734.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Girolamo Gianni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian panoramic View Of Constantinople, View From Beyazit in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 163,250.00 (€ 186,676.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art; Maritime Art; Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Sea Approach To Marsa Scirocco, Malta von Girolamo Gianni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.734,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Girolamo Gianni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian panoramic View Of Constantinople, View From Beyazit im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.250,00 (€ 186.676,87).
