Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Maternità by Giovanni Panza was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,976.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Panza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'arrivo dei pescatori, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 8,575,000.00 (€ 7,707.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Maternità von Giovanni Panza kam im November 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.976,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Panza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'arrivo dei pescatori beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 8.575.000,00 (€ 7.707,00) versteigert wurde.
