Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Contadinella al pozzo by Giovanni Panza. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,720.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Panza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'arrivo dei pescatori, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 8,575,000.00 (€ 7,707.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Contadinella al pozzo von Giovanni Panza zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.720,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Panza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'arrivo dei pescatori beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 8.575.000,00 (€ 7.707,00) versteigert wurde.
