This artwork by Giovanni Frangi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2013. In the Art contemporain auction, the work Vallemosso sold for EUR 21,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giovanni Frangi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Foresta Domestica sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of EUR 31,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Frangi erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art contemporain wurde die Arbeit Vallemosso für EUR 21.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giovanni Frangi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Foresta Domestica im Oktober 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 31.000,00.
