Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giardini Pubblici by Giovanni Frangi was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2015. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Frangi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Foresta Domestica, which sold at auction in October 2012 for EUR 31,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giardini Pubblici von Giovanni Frangi wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Frangi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Foresta Domestica beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für EUR 31.000,00 versteigert wurde.
