Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giovanni Frangi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2007. In the Post War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Tubuai sold for EUR 30,440.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giovanni Frangi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Foresta Domestica sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of EUR 31,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Frangi erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Tubuai für EUR 30.440,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giovanni Frangi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Foresta Domestica im Oktober 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 31.000,00.
