Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,968.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Frangi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Foresta Domestica in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 31,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sedia Gialla von Giovanni Frangi kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.968,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Frangi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Foresta Domestica im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.000,00.
