In October 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Old Master Drawings and Engravings, which included the work Oxen and wagon by Giovanni Fattori. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 550.00 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Fattori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cavalleggero E Carabiniere A Cavallo in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 240,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oxen and wagon von Giovanni Fattori zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 550,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Fattori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cavalleggero E Carabiniere A Cavallo im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 240.750,00.
