Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Il fratellastro Rinaldo e il nipote Alberto by Giovanni Fattori for EUR 600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Fattori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cavalleggero E Carabiniere A Cavallo in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 240,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Il fratellastro Rinaldo e il nipote Alberto von Giovanni Fattori für EUR 600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Fattori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cavalleggero E Carabiniere A Cavallo im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 240.750,00.
