This artwork by Giovanni Fattori achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June last year. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Antignano, Livorno sold for EUR 13,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Fattori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cavalleggero E Carabiniere A Cavallo in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 240,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Fattori erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Antignano, Livorno für EUR 13.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Fattori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cavalleggero E Carabiniere A Cavallo im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 240.750,00.
